Exciting week of Firsts!

Well, we had an exciting week for sure. Alex played on a meri-go-round (sp?) for the first time and swung by himself for the first time! Of course we didn't push him very high, but he still said "Whoa" and "Whee" a lot! He also drank from a regular cup without spilling a drop! Ok, well there was one drop that was left on his chin. Ha ha! I am such a proud mommy! He's getting to be so big, not to mention independent. He's starting to pull away when I try to hold his hand, but I let him know rather quickly that if we are going anywhere, he will be holding my hand. I guess the tough love is really beginning now. So far, the two's haven't been to bad, and hopefully we'll continue to blessed in that way. I'm trying to decide about some new toddler bedding for him, but can't make up my mind. Chip says Alex is not going to care in the long run, and so it's up to me. For those of you who don't know this about me...I'm rather indecisive, about simple things anyway.

We will be coming back to Brandon, MS next week for a little while (not exactly sure how long)! We're very excited about it. We haven't gotten to see our friends and family in over a month now. Maybe we'll be at church next Sunday and we can catch up with some of you in person. Hope all is going well with everyone!
